Deb, a Quad Citian was an inspiration to those who knew her. Diagnosed with Melanoma in 1994, she fought it bravely, aggressively, positively to the very end, and inspired others to do the same. She was a personality with message, not just some person with melanoma. She made you feel good even when she didn't feel well herself. She traveled far and wide to see specialists and for treatments, and she was an advocate of prevention and early diagnosis, as well as stepped-up research in search of a cure.
